Sisters In Our Midst

The Mystical Geek in Vessels of Clay
mgasisters-th.jpgThey live across the street from us.  Before January 4, 2005, they just participated in the Mass singing as a choir during the morning services; occassionally they would also invite us into their convent for their spiritual exercises.  But since January 4, 2005, they have been doing quite a bit of magic in our house, cooking and cleaning for us.

They are the Servants of Jesus and Mary, a congregation originating from Malta and which gets its inspiration from the Rule of St. Augustine.  The kaldero in the picture is just a symbol of one of the things they are doing for us:  give us nourishing meals.  If you'd click on the link below, you'd find the persons to whom the kaldero is attached...

Without the sisters, we just don't how we'd survive!  In just a few days, they've cleaned the house so well that even the cobwebs in my computer room is gone (now, I don't even know whether the label "webmaster" should apply to me).  They even cook a good meal with the simple recados we can afford.  (They say:  "Iba ang lasa kapag may halong pagmamahal.")  Yep, those are our sisters!  Chef.
